Lets see... the last I posted was right before our benefit auction (I can't believe what all has happened since then!) The auction went very well. It was a very full, busy day, but it was a great success. Thanks so much to everyone who made success a possibility!
The Sunday after the auction, some of us went into Pennsylvania for a week of meetings. It was an awesome week filled with lots of heart-to-heart connections with old and new friends and deepening our relationship with God. I have been amazed at how God has been answering my prayers. Over the past year, I have been praying and asking that God would broaden my horizons as far as meeting new people and making new friends, and that has happened over and over in the last year! The weeks after that were amazing. It was a time of drawing closer to God on a more personal level. The next weeks were also very busy with the normal day-to-day things.
The beginning of June, we went to Indiana for a weekend. I had an awesome time! we spent one day shopping, and the rest of the time just hanging out with friends.
The weeks after that were just normal, busy, summer days. Full of the summer things: gardening... cleaning...working at a food stand once a week ...swimming...cookouts... hikes...etc. etc. etc... you know how life goes:)
The middle of June we went out to Indiana again for another week of meetings. That week was so awesome! I met so many amazing people, and had an awesome time growing closer to God. One thing that I really came to a greater understanding of is how deep God's love for me really is. When I came to that realization, I was amazed! It was such a deep, filling, love, that when I first experienced it, all I could do was sit there and bask in it. It made me, in turn, love him more than ever before, and want to do so much more for him than what I was doing. I would encourage each of you to ask God for a revelation from him of what his love for you is really like. When you come to that realization, it will change your entire life if you allow it to! We were gone Sunday, June 15, through Saturday, June 21. The next day, we had out of state company. and that week was packed full! we were leaving for Montana that Thursday, the 26th. so we were busy with the last minute things that go along with getting ready to leave for a three week trip. Needless to say, those five days flew by!
We left for Montana Thursday afternoon. My dads oldest brother lives out there, so we were going to spend a week in the mountains with dad's entire family. I enjoy traveling, so it wasn't too bad, but two days straight on the road did feel kind of long:)
We got to my uncles house around lunch time on Saturday. It was awesome being with them again! We hung out at their place Saturday evening and Sunday and played games, lazed around, etc.
It was so much fun riding around on this thing!

relaxing:)
We left for the mountains Monday morning. We were staying at sun canyon lodge , a very nice area. Our week there was so packed full of fun that it flew by unbelievably fast!

We went on a two hour trail ride on Tuesday: tons of fun!
We spent all day Wednesday on the lake fishing. It was a little disappointing, cause almost everything we caught had to be thrown back, but it was still lots fun! I got a serious sunburn:)

Saturday we headed for another part of Montana, about five hours from where we were, for some youth meetings. We met up with some awesome friends there and had a really awesome weekend!! One thing that I experienced that weekend was the awesome power of the Holy Spirit. During one of the services, we had a time of crying out to God and asking Him for a deeper portion of his Spirit. when I received that, it was awesome! I felt God come in and totally cleanse me and fill me with himself. It left me feeling so clean and full of power.
We had awesome times of praise and worship! The fellowship time and meetings
were also very awesome!
We stayed there the next week for discipleship classes and more fun! The classes were awesome to take in and a blessing to me personally. The theme was our redemptive gifts. They talked about the seven different biblical redemptive gifts and how they tie in to how a person thinks, acts, and relates. It helped me understand others better, and realize that i'm not strange just because I don't think or process like someone else:) The meetings were held in the mornings and evenings, but the rest of the day was free. One day we cleaned, and the next we weeded the garden, which was actually really fun because there was like thirty of us working at it:) Then we went swimming. Another day, some of us helped clean a million dollar house they were building. Thursday we went hiking and had a pizza party and games in the evening. We left a little after lunch on Friday. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures of the week:( was having too much fun:)
We had an about twenty-four hour drive to my mom's sister's house in Wisconsin. We spent Saturday evening through Tuesday morning there. We left for home Tuesday morning and arrived at home about six o'clock Wednesday morning, July 16. It was an awesome trip, and I can't believe its over already, but it does feel good to be back home again and get back into a schedule (of sorts:). since we're back, we've pretty much worked on getting back into normal life, and catching up on stuff around the house etc. I help my grandma every Thursday, and every Friday (that we are around, that is:) and help at a food stand at a flee market. other than that, its normal life. I've started back into school and am trying to get into a schedule with that. so yeah... that pretty much sums up the last seven weeks of my life:) This post got really long, but I guess that's what I get for waiting so long to do it:)
Hope everyone is having an awesome summer!! (is it going to fast for anyone else?:) Enjoy it while it lasts:)
