This last weekend we had a youth group from Maryland volunteer at our ministry center, White Stone Youth Ministry. They came around 8 o'clock Wednesday evening and were around till about 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon. They came as strangers (most of them anyway) and left like family:) We got a ton of stuff done, and made so many awesome memories while at it!! Here's just a few pictures from the weekend...
Here are the awesome people that i got to spend the weekend with!! This picture really doesn't give justice to their awesomeness:)
So our first project was the education wing roof. As you can tell, it was pretty bad, but its amazing what a bunch of guys can get done in 2&1/2 days:)
Another group of people worked on the flower beds, that weren't there yet:)
Before the guys started tilling, it was all grass, they did an amazing job!!!

Saturday forenoon we spent at a family's house that we have been working with through the ministry... Did a lot of cleaning and outside work...

Then Saturday afternoon we went to the park and had games, beads, and face painting for
anyone who wanted it... including most of us:) SO MUCH FUN!!!

It was so hard saying bye to everyone:(... They all seemed like family:) They were such an encouragement to me, their servants heart, their willingness to jump into anything with a smile on their face and laughter in their hearts, and their obvious passion and love for God. And they were always singing, which was very outstanding to me!! (By the way, they are very good singers:). On Friday and Saturday Nights, we did prayer walks in our town, and it was totally awesome the way that everyone was connected and in unity! Friday night after the prayer walk, which was about 11, we all went into a little diner in town, and just relaxed and had an awesome time:) And whatever we were doing, whether it was cleaning house, going to the park, heading into town for the prayer walks, doing potatoes, or just randomly, we were always singing. Saturday evening before the prayer walk we spent some time singing, and then at church on Sunday we did, and again back at White Stone Sunday afternoon.
To every one of you, you guys are awesomely, fantastically, amazing!!!:) love you all!!
